Independent lab tests

We haven't bought or tested any products yet. Once testing is funded, we'll buy peptides the way any customer would, anonymously and at full price, and send the sealed vials to an independent lab. Every result will be published, good or bad, with the lab report.

Results will appear here and on each vendor's profile. Until then, vendors' own COAs are the only quality data available; our COA guide shows how to check them.

How testing will work

  1. Buy blind. Orders go through ordinary customer accounts, so vendors can't send us a special batch.
  2. Record everything. We photograph the package, labels and lot numbers on arrival and keep a sealed retain sample from the same order.
  3. Use independent labs. Samples go to third-party labs with no commercial ties to the vendor. We name the lab on every result.
  4. Test what matters. At minimum, purity (HPLC), identity (mass spectrometry) and how much peptide is actually in the vial compared with the label.
  5. Publish every result. Failures are published too. Vendors see the result at the same time as everyone else and can respond on our corrections page.

One test describes one vial from one batch. It doesn't prove that every batch from that vendor is good or bad. See peptide testing explained.
