Third-party tested peptide vendors
Research peptide vendors that publish batch-specific certificates of analysis (COAs) on their own sites, and the labs named on them. Checked Oct 15, 2026.
"Third-party tested" here means the vendor publishes batch COAs. These are documents the vendor chose to publish, not our own tests. Check that a COA's batch number matches the vial you receive.
Vendors with public batch COAs, by transparency score (45)
3 more vendors publish batch COAs but aren't ranked, because of documented red flags or a warning letter, lawsuit or seizure in the past three years (why):
- Legendary Peptides: Lawsuit, Aug 2026
- Prime Peptides: FDA warning letter, Dec 2024
- Nuscience Peptides: FDA warning letter, Aug 2026

Third-party testing: questions people ask
Which peptide vendors are third-party tested?
48 active vendors publish batch-specific COAs on their own sites, out of 135 whose COAs we could check. Those with the highest transparency scores, leaving out vendors with red flags or a recent enforcement action: Pure Peptide Labs, Peptidology and Coastal Peptides.
Which labs test research peptides for vendors?
The labs named most often on vendors' COAs are Freedom Diagnostics (17), Janoshik Analytical (9), ILS Laboratories (7) and Kovera Labs (6). A named lab is a start: check that the report's batch number matches your vial.
Is a vendor's COA proof of quality?
No. A COA describes one sample from one batch, and the vendor chooses what to publish. Check that the batch or lot number matches your vial, that the lab is named and independent, and that the report is recent. Some labs let you verify a report on their own site. How to read a COA.
What is a batch-specific COA?
A certificate of analysis tied to a specific production batch or lot, usually showing purity (HPLC) and identity (mass spectrometry). A generic or sample COA isn't tied to what you receive. 73 active vendors in our registry publish only generic or sample COAs.
