MDx BioAnalytical Laboratory: what we could verify
College Station, Texas. ISO/IEC 17025 (PJLA) since June 2026; the scope includes peptides by HPLC-MS. Named on the COAs of 3 vendors we track. Checked Oct 16, 2026.
- Website
- mdxbiolabs.com
- Location
- College Station, Texas [1]
- Run by
- MDx BioAnalytical Laboratory, Inc., authorised in Texas since 2010 [2]
- Accreditation
- Accredited. PJLA certificate L26-502 (accreditation no. 133413), ISO/IEC 17025:2017, held by MDx BioAnalytical Laboratory, Inc., 5914 Imperial Loop Dr., Suite 12, College Station, TX, first accredited and issued June 9, 2026, valid to July 31, 2028. The scope covers raw materials, drugs and drug products: peptides by HPLC-MS, endotoxins by LAL (USP <85>), FTIR identification, pH and moisture by Karl Fischer. COAs issued before June 9, 2026 predate this accreditation, and the lab's home page still says its certificate had expired pending re-accreditation. [3] [4] [5]
- How to check a COA
- A public COA search on mdxbiolabs.com by the search code printed on each COA. The lookup's file server blocked our checks, so we didn't run one. [6]
Is it real? What we checked
Real lab, accredited PJLA accredited MDx BioAnalytical Laboratory to ISO/IEC 17025 in June 2026, with peptides by HPLC-MS and endotoxin in the scope, one of two labs here accredited for peptide work. COAs it issued before June 9, 2026 predate that accreditation, and its home page still says its certificate expired. How every lab name compares.
- Yes Its own website. mdxbiolabs.com: “a full-service bioanalytical laboratory”. [5]
- Yes A registered company. Texas lists MDx BioAnalytical Laboratory, Inc. as active, authorised there since 2010. [2]
- Partly A published lab address. 5890 Imperial Loop, Suite 12, College Station, on its site; its PJLA certificate gives 5914 Imperial Loop Dr., Suite 12. [1] [3]
- Yes Accreditation, checked with the accreditation body. ISO/IEC 17025, PJLA certificate L26-502, from June 9, 2026 to July 31, 2028; the scope includes peptides by HPLC-MS and endotoxin by LAL. [3]
- Partly Its claims match the records. Its home page still says “Cert Expired: PENDING Re-Accreditation”, though PJLA shows the new certificate. COAs from before June 9, 2026, such as those we read from January and May, predate it. [5] [3]
- Yes Names its scientists. Its team page names its founder and CEO, with a PhD in analytical chemistry. [7]
- Yes Independent evidence that it operates. PJLA accreditation, a Texas registration since 2010, and a 2020 peer-reviewed paper with authors at the lab. [3] [2] [8]
- Yes Independent of vendors. No tie to a vendor found; the vendors that name it describe it as an outside lab. [9]
- Yes COAs can be checked with the lab. A public COA search on its own site by search code; its file server blocked our checks. [6]
- 1 yr+ Domain age. mdxbiolabs.com was registered on January 17, 2017. [10]
Tests it offers
- Peptides by HPLC-MS (within its accredited scope) [3]
